Snowblind Revival is a rock band from Texas. Established in 1997, the band trekked across the states bringing their melodic and eclectic rock music to audiences in clubs and theaters such as Fitzgerald’s in Houston, SXSW Music Festival and The Back Room in Austin Texas, New York’s CBGBs and the Whisky a go-go on the sunset strip.
The band also played multiple showcases for A&R executives at major and indie labels in Los Angeles and New York, presenting early stage demo’s and finished arrangements of original music. The band would also record music at Paramount Studios in LA, and work with Billy Idol guitarist and songwriter Mark Younger-Smith from Charmed Life and Cyberpunk on new music in Austin.
The group would disband in 2002 and did not come back together until 2018 for the remastering of their music and the release of what would become the compilation album, Living Now.
In 2019 guitarist Kirk Johnston and former Van Halen manager Noel E. Monk discussed the possibility of Monk coming out of retirement to assist the group. Johnston and Monk's friendship had gone back several years.
Having lost lead singer Dennis Clevenger to suicide in 2015 Kirk, Nate and Wes have never considered replacing him and most recently came together in Midland Tx to discuss recording a new album as a power trio.
